Port & Harbor services
The ports of Curacao are all natural sheltered ports that offer safe, fast and reliable handling of ships and their cargo.
In the 1600’s when the Dutch established themselves on the island of Curacao, they turned Curacao into one of the biggest shipping centers in the Caribbean. Many countries used Curacao’s safe, deep and naturally sheltered harbor of Willemstad.
The establishment of the royal Dutch Shell oil refinery in the 1900s spurred the modernization of this industrial process. This prompted a series of developments that turned the ports of Curacao into the multi-faced maritime service centera that they are today.
The 5 ports that are available for commercial purposes are:
- St Annabaai
- Bullenbaai
- St Michiels baai
- Fuik baai
- Klein Curaçao
Mega Yachts & Mega Yacht ports
Do you need an agent to attend to your Mega Yacht in Curacao? We pride ourselves on service and have 25 years of experience in mega yacht management. As a matter of fact, our islands are becoming increasingly popular for these types of ships, thanks in large part to the favourable weather conditions and because of a wide variety of activities at these locations (cultural experiences, diving & beaches, dining, historic sites, etc.).
Our Immigration & Customs departments are well organized, making crew & passenger embarkation / disembarkation - either by yacht or aircraft - quite easy. Also, in the event of a layup or just a longer stay-over, Curacao is an ideal location due to the location outside of the Hurricane Belt. Furthermore, there are numerous service and repair companies that specifically cater towards the Mega Yacht sector.
